This project involved the renovation and expansion of the Recovery Department and operating rooms Block E of Maas & Kempen Hospital in Maaseik. The project was divided into two phases, split into smaller zones to ensure continuous hospital operations. Phase 1 included the renovation of the recovery areas and the renewed injection room. In Phase 2, the existing medium care unit was converted into two operating rooms. This project is a strong example of thoughtful planning, close collaboration and construction expertise in a complex healthcare environment. All hospital services remained operational throughout the works.
